14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your… Continue

"...If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee." Today, God has Good News for the oppressed! And He has anointed me to bring this Good News to you; the same authority Jesus has, He gave it to me (Luke 10:19) - so God is using me today to give you this word. Listen with your spiritual ears today at what God is saying to you. He loves you very much and He want to set you free today; He has already made provisions for your freedom – just accept it. But, you cannot be free without accepting Jesus; there is no way you can be free without the One… Continue

Title of this quote is: "I Choose Self-Control"
"I am a spiritual being...
After this body is dead, my spirit will soar.
I refuse to let what will rot, rule the eternal.
I choose self-control. I will be drunk only by joy.
I will be impassioned only by my faith.
I will be influenced only by God.
I will be taught only by Christ.
I choose self-control.
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and… Continue

I cry out to the Lord; I pray to the Lord for mercy. Psalm 142:1
You can talk to God because God listens. Your voice matters in heaven. He takes you very seriously. When you enter His presence, He turns to you to hear your voice. No need to fear that you will be ignored. Even if you stammer or stumble, even if what you have to say impresses no one, it impresses God, and He listens. He listens to the painful plea of the elderly in the rest home. He listens to… Continue

Sometimes we look around at other people and see how God is causing their lives to soar and we get discouraged. If this is happening to you, don’t be discouraged because God has not forgotten about you. Every person is different and God deals with each person differently. So, it’s their season to flourish in the things of God and the vision He has given them now but your time is coming soon. Don’t get angry and bitter at them either; it is God who causes them to prosper. Be honest with yourself… Continue

Happy New Year Everyone!
God encouraged my heart today when I got up, thorough the three events I will describe below, so I want to encourage yours.
When I first woke up, I was in so much pain (I have had an ear and sinus infections and sore throat for the last 3 or 4 weeks – been to the doctor, tried numerous types of antibiotics and used ear antibiotic drops to no avail). On top of all of that, I have been having severe back pain… Continue

Let’s recap from Part I:
Our “urgent” prayer requests are not always answered by the deadline date (if there is one) because:
1. God wants to get all the glory; He will work things out in the way you or no one else can say, “I did that.”
2. Your faith is being tested; God knows where you are, now He wants you to see where you are. You will find out do you “really” trust God or not. Remember, where your faith lies, that is what you trust in. When you… Continue

I have heard many people make the statement, “God may not come when you want Him, but He is right on time,” this is a true statement; however, it can be confusing to you if you have not received revelation about it.
As I was making my bed, God begin to deal with me about the Scripture where Lazarus had died (John 11:1-45). Lazarus sisters, Mary and Martha, called for Jesus days before he died to let Jesus know Lazarus was sick. But Jesus deliberately delayed going to Lazarus until… Continue

I am having a fundraiser to help raise funds for my organization so we can help educate abused women and offer support to them. The Lula McGrady Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which was formed to alleviate the pain and suffering associated with domestic violence and being homeless; subsequently, “to build life to better the hurting and hopeless.”
The mission of the organization is to teach life skills for independent living to battered and hurting… Continue

1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of… Continue
