"God Is Our Healer And Much More!"

Most of the time, when we think of healing, we only think of healing of our body. But God is the Ultimate and only “real” Healer; God sent His Son Jesus to heal us – spirit, soul, and body which makes us complete. I am speaking in this teaching of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God Holy Spirit; They are one (1 John 5:7 – the Word is Jesus, John 1:1-5; Matthew 28:18-20). I wanted to explain that because do not want people to be confused. Ask Holy Spirit to give you understanding of this message before you start reading it.

God does not only heal our natural body, but He also heals our soul (where our emotions and will are), our spirit, our bodies, and our finances. In other words, God will heal us in every area of our lives; God heals us everywhere we hurt – He is cares for us very much.

Therefore, don’t settle for less; don’t live beneath your privileges. God is more than enough for you. He has everything under control in your life. I like the song by Phil Stacey, “You’re Not Shaken” because God is not shaken by anything that happens to you; so don’t you be shaken. The Word let us know, greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4); this is because we are of God and have overcame the world. So since God is not shaken, He is in us, and we have overcome the world, we should not be shaken by anything; the things we see are only temporary but the things we cannot see are eternal – believe before you see – that is faith in God.

We must allow the Holy Spirit to accomplish in us, what He needs to accomplish. Let us get rid of fear by submitting ourselves to God and resisting the devil; then the devil will flee from us. Don’t worry that the devil might not leave the first time you resist him. Remember, he kept coming to Jesus but Jesus kept speaking the Word to him. There are two things the devil recognizes: The Blood of Jesus and the Word of God; this is how we are going to overcome – by The Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Otherwise, the devil does not care what YOU say. So, don’t give up nor give in, stand your ground (keep quoting the Word); don’t let the devil bully you. He has no power (authority) over you but you have the authority over him.

 

Jesus gave us the authority over him in Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (biblegateway.com – NKJV).

Rise up today, and begin walking in your authority. You are already healed from every sickness, disease, plague and bondage (fleshly, spiritual, financial, emotional, abuse, etc.). Whatever is trying to come against you, you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus; “it” cannot hold you down. Speak the Word of God to “it” and use your authority Jesus gave you in Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (biblegateway.com – NKJV).

Don’t doubt in your heart! Remember, sometimes, God takes you THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death and not around it. I know because I have been through the valley of the shadow of death many times but God brought me out every time. Awhile back, I went through the valley of the shadow of death; this is what happened. I went to the ER for them to do X-rays on my neck; they ended up giving me a very powerful drug mixed with another drug and I almost died. I thank God for my friends who came and picked me up from the hospital and allowed me to spend the night. If I would not have spent the night, I believe it would have been more serious for me because she had to pray for me around 1 or 2 am; that is just how out of my mind I was. I could barely open my eyes and I heard the nurse tell my friend when she picked me up, the medicine they gave me was equivalent to me drinking a case and a half of beer; I knew I was in trouble – God delivered me from drinking years and years ago and never wanted to feel the effects of alcohol again.

I kept praying in my head and quoting scriptures, then my heart started to race and my body begin to tingle (starting with my head) then I got short of breath. But I kept quoting the Word of God (although at times it was hard to focus) in my mind; I eventually woke my friend up and asked her to pray for me. So, I know that God is the only Healer, He is the only Deliver, and can and will bring you out of WHATEVER valley of shadow of death that you are going through. See, God could have not allowed them to give me that medicine but if I had not went through that, I could not tell you today, that God will bring you through the valley of the shadow of death. I could not tell you that God is the only Healer and Deliver, we have.

There are times we are thrown into the fiery furnace like the three Hebrew boys (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) by others and other times, we jump into the fiery furnace ourselves - but God will be in there with us as He was with the Hebrew boys (Daniel 3:25; 14-29).

 

God said in Isaiah 43:1, 2, 5a, & 19 (biblegateway.com – NKJV):

v1 – But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

v2 – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

v5a – Fear not, for I am with you;

v19 – Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. So you see, God has everything covered in your life; He knows exactly what you need and when you need it.

Nothing surprises God because He already knows what is going to happen in your life, before it happens. God already has your escape route plotted out; your steps are ordered by Him. Just follow the steps He has ordered for you and you will come out unharmed. No matter how chaotic your life seems, no matter how out of control things around you seem, God is in TOTAL control. So, trust Him and see won’t He bring you out of “it;” whatever your “it” is.

I don’t want to sound redundant but I feel a strong urge in my spirit to reinforce to you today, that God is in TOTAL control of your life. Do not walk in fear! Don’t look at the economy, your paycheck, are to others for your help; look to God your Father who is your ONLY SOURCE. God loves you so much and NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD FROM YOU. Give God your life today, totally, because He can and will bring you out/through whatever you are going through; just give it all to Him. Release everything that is troubling you out of your heart to the Father – your Father, because He cares for you and it is what’s in your heart that matters to Him. Accept Jesus today, as your personal Lord and Savior, so He can take you unto the Father. I pray that each person who reads this message for today, will allow the Holy Spirit to come into their hearts and clean out fear (which keeps you in bondage), so you can receive from the Father. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
