What Is Hindering Your Healing? (The Spiritual Root Cause of Diseases)

 

 

“What Is Hindering Your Healing?” – Introduction – Part 1:

 

Have you ever wondered why you have not received your healing? You take medications, you have prayed, you have had hands laid on you, you have had people agreeing with you but still, you have not received your full healing in your body or mind!! You know what the Word says that by Jesus stripes you are healed but your healing is not being manifested! Well wonder no longer! God is NOT a liar and if the Word says we are healed by Jesus’ stripes, then we are ALREADY healed by Jesus’ stripes!! God let me knew through Dr. Art Mathias in September 2009 that the problem goes deeper (He reminded me again a couple of days ago) – the problem comes from our soul which house our mind, will, and emotions (emotions are what drives our feeling: from a psychological stand point)

 

What goes on in our soul affects our body and every aspect of our lives!! We must line ourselves up so we can receive our healing!! Just as Jesus died for all mankind’s sins and gave us a gift of salvation, to receive His gift, we must accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior!! Salvation just as healing is available to us but unless we accept it, we will not receive it!

 

Most of us has experienced some type of traumatic event throughout our lives that has affected us emotionally (remember, the emotions are in our soul). Therefore, a lot of times, that emotional sickness spills out into our everyday life if that traumatic event is not dealt with (abuse, sexual assault, rape, neglect, abandonment, etc., etc.). When we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, our soul is not renewed; our spirit man is!

 

Therefore, we must deal with the things in our soul by giving those things over to Jesus and asking Him to clean our souls too – asking Him to heal our emotions!

Three Parts of Man! – Part 1a:

 

Before I continue with “What Is Hindering Your Healing?” let me explain the three parts of man! We are made in God’s image according to Genesis 1:26-27, so we are a triune being; our nature is tripartite (http://www.tripartiteman.org/functions/spirit.html). This is because God is a Trinity, and since He is three parts in one (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit – 2 Corinthians 13:14) so are we (Source: https://bible.org/seriespage/man-trinity-spirit-soul-body).

 

The three parts that man is made up of are body, soul, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23 – “Now the very God of peace sanctify you throughout: and I pray God that your whole spirit and soul and body, may be kept blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” - 1599 Geneva Bible – biblegateway.com).

 

This is the Amplified Bible’s (AMP) version of 1 Thessalonians 5:23:

 

“And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)’ (biblegateway.com).

 

God is the One who makes us complete in Him through His Son Jesus! Once we accepts Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, our spirit man is immediately restored to God but our soul is not (I am not saying that your soul is not saved, I am talking about ALL the “stuff” that has happened to you throughout your life that has affected your emotions – these things are in our soul and they must come out so we can walk in the completeness Jesus died so we could do – live in the abundant life Jesus came to give us)! Our soul is healed through our relationship with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit; as we walk with Jesus, we will learn the things of God thus changing the way we think which change our actions and our wills becomes His will!!
