Our WAY of Escape is Jesus!! Part 1

Look NO further, “Our WAY of Escape is Jesus!!” Jesus has ALL we need; He is the One, the ONLY One, who can take us to the Father (John 14:6)!! Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2); Jesus as God, creates and sustains our faith (Reference: Author and Finisher of Faith). The Scripture reference: 1 Corinthians 10:13.

 

Therefore, our faith begins with Jesus (when we accepts Him as our personal Lord and Savior - Ephesians 2:8-9), and ends with Jesus (He returns to take us home - John 14:3)! Jesus is with us ALWAYS, from the start of our new life in Him, unto the end!

 

This is what Hebrews 12:1-2 says, about Jesus being the Author and Finisher of our faith: “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, ² looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

 

IF we ALLOW Jesus to be the Author and Finisher of our faith, we will not be frustrated when we go through things; we will have assurance, that we are not alone, but Jesus is with us!! We will KNOW, that God is fighting for us and Holy Spirit, our Comforter and so much more, is with us!! And that God being FOR US, is MORE THAN the world against us (Romans 8:26-39; whole Chapter of Romans).
