Surrender All To Jesus And Let Him Take You To The Father

Nothing and nobody is able to pluck you out of God’s hand; God got you forever! He promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) and God will keep that promise. You never have to worry about Him rejecting, abandoning, or neglecting you; He is a great Father who takes good care of His children. Therefore, do not worry or be afraid! That situation nor the circumstances which was caused by that situation is NOT going to take you out!

Run to God! He is the only One who can help you. Run to Him out of love; not out of desperation looking for Him to solve your problem. He is there for you but He want a relationship with you; want you willing come to Him – out of love for Him. He does not want a one-sided relationship with you where He is doing all the giving but God wants a two-sided relationship with you.

My Pastor, Gary L. Greer, taught a message on last Friday night entitled, “Externals;” that message will change your life – you will never look at God the same way again. Pastor Greer taught us not to serve God for what He can do for us but because He is God and we are to seek His face and not His hand (paraphrasing). To purchase the message, contact Lisbon Church of God, 352-787-8188, Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; our churches web site is: www.glgministries.ning.com.

God is the true and living God: He is Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, He is the First & the Last, the Great I Am, and the list goes on and on, and on. So surrender your all to Him today; don’t wait until tomorrow because it might be too late. In order to surrender all to God, you first must surrender all to Jesus; He is the only way to the Father. Don’t put it off another day, tomorrow is not promise to any of us. Give your life to Jesus today and live; live the abundant life Jesus died so you could live. There is no other way to live this abundant life but through Jesus; there are no substitutes. I don’t care how much money you have, how many cars, houses, or material things you have, if you don’t have Jesus living His life through you, you are not living the abundant life.

Once you accept Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, your old life is crucified, dead, finished, done away with; you get the picture. Galatians 2:20 says we have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us. The life we live in the body after accepting Christ, we live it by faith in Christ; who loved us and gave Himself for us. Then you can boldly say, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). You are not looking at your situation and circumstances but you are standing on the Word of God. Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection make it possible for us to come boldly before the throne of grace and for us to be able to boldly declare God’s Word over our lives. That is just one of the privileges that we as born again believers of Jesus Christ get to take hold of; there are many, many, many more. But you must be born again; as Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:3-6; you must be born of the water and the Spirit – that which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of Spirit is Spirit.

Surrender ALL to Jesus this day! And experience your “new birth” and the peace of God which surpasseth all your understanding will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6). Jesus is the ONLY WAY for you to have real peace! Begin your relationship with Him today and allow Him to take you in to the Father.

An Invitation To Accept Christ as personal Lord and Savior:

“Dear Jesus, 1 John 1:9 says if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and You would cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I confess my sins before You this day, asking You to forgive me and come into my life and live Your life through me now. You also said Jesus, in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter who will teach us all things, so I invite the Holy Spirit in to teach me the things of the Father. I thank you Father for washing me in the precious blood of Jesus and giving me the gift of eternal life and the Holy Spirit to help me live my new life daily. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

To God be the glory,
