We ARE Hid IN Christ!

We are hid IN Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21)!! IN Christ we are the righteousness of God!! God does not see our sins when He looks at us, He sees Christ’s righteousness!! As I said earlier in a post I posted on Facebook, let’s not be sin conscious but grace conscious!! The Word tells us WE ARE the righteousness of God in Christ not going to be; we grow from glory to glory not become more righteous – if you say you need to be more righteous, you are saying Christ’s righteousness is not enough and that is NOT true!! What needs to happen is to believe what God has said and what Jesus has done and don’t allow a devil in hell or anywhere else to tell you differently; you either believe God or you believe the devil or believe what your sin conscious mind tells you!!

The devil and people, if you allow them to, will have you in so much bondage you won’t know if you are coming or going and you will go to church and the man or woman of God will give you the Word of God and you will say “They are not teaching me the Word!” No, they are teaching you the Word but you are too confused to receive the Word of God; you would rather believe a lie than to believe God’s Servant!! As long as you allow people of the wrong spirit (the gift of discernment will tell you – Holy Spirit will let you know IF you listen) and the enemy and even your own confused mind (which most of the times comes from your spiritual foundation – someone told you something wrong growing up in church and you are still believing it – allow God to get rid of all that old stuff you are holding onto that is not His true doctrine) to keep feeding you the wrong thing, you will stay in bondage!!

You ARE NOW RIGHTEOUS because of Christ, no ifs, ands, or buts; that is what the Word of God says!! It does not matter how inadequate you feel, how unworthy you feel, etc. you are still the righteousness of God in Christ!! Jesus shed HIS blood so you could become righteous; righteousness cannot be earned because it is our gift through the New Covenant (Jesus kept the law; He fulfilled the law and gave us HIS righteousness (Romans 10:3, Philippians 3:9)!! Under the Old Covenant, the law, righteousness had to be attained by keeping the law perfectly (Deuteronomy6:25- http://dailyrhema.blogspot.com/2007/03/69-you-are-righteousness-of-god-in.html) but now we are in a New Covenant (Hebrews 8:6) because of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection – Jesus’ blood (Luke 22:20) has satisfied the requirement of the law of the Old Covenant and we are no longer under the law but under grace and truth (Romans 6)!! Romans 3:22 lets us know that “THIS righteousness is given through faith to ALL who believe...” (Emphasis made by me)! We now have God’s laws imprinted on our hearts and inscribed in our minds (Hebrews 10:16)!

This is what Romans 3:19-22 says in the Amplified Bible on biblegateway.com (above reference is from same source but the NIV version):

“¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that [the murmurs and excuses of] every mouth may be hushed and all the world may be held accountable to God.

²⁰ For no person will be justified (made righteous, acquitted, and judged acceptable) in His sight by observing the works prescribed by the Law. For [the real function of] the Law is to make men recognize and be conscious of sin [not mere perception, but an acquaintance with sin which works toward repentance, faith, and holy character].

²¹ But now the righteousness of God has been revealed independently and altogether apart from the Law, although actually it is attested by the Law and the Prophets,

²² Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction...”

Clearly we see in Romans 3:20 that the Law’s function was to make men recognize and be conscious of their sin (not merely to perceive which means “to become aware of or know” per Bing dictionary but to be acquainted with or constantly be aware of their sins) and this caused them to WORK towards repentance, having more faith, and being more holy; does that sounds familiar? Are you doing the same thing? Are you working after these things? NO NEED!! JESUS HAS FINISHED THE WORK FOR YOU; HE HAS FINISHED EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE DONE IN YOUR LIFE AND NOW THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO DO IS REST IN HIS FINISHED WORK!! THAT IS IT!!! PURE AND SIMPLE!!

 

Let this sink in your spirit; IT IS FINISHED; NO NEED TO WORK FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS!! You will NEVER be MORE holy, MORE righteous than JESUS; just rest in what He has already done for YOU!! Just live your life according to God’s will and stop trying to work to please God, to be more holy, to get it right, etc. – God is already pleased with you through His Son – God love you very much and do not want you to keep going round and round in circles trying to do something which is already done through His Son Jesus!! Therefore, accept what Jesus has done for you, accept the grace of God!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! The enemy, people, and our own old mindset will keep us WORKING for righteousness until Jesus come; we will be constantly beating ourselves up TRYING, TRYING, And TRYING!! Jesus came that we might have life and have it MORE abundantly!! This is why there are so many defeated, broke down, disgusted, etc. Christians - they are so sin conscious; they refuse to accept God’s New Covenant which are taught by His true men and women He sent to teach them (Romans 10:3) - they want to stay under the Law so they can work to make themselves more spiritual, more deep!! But God is calling you out TODAY FROM THAT BONDAGE OF THE LAW, HE WANTS TO SET YOU FREE FROM OLD MINDSETS AND YOUR OLD WAYS; FROM BELIEVING LIFE GRANDMOTHER BELIEVED AND LIKE MAMA AND DADDY BELIEVED!! The Word says let EVERY man be fully persuaded in his OWN mind!! YOU BELIEVE WHAT THE WORD SAYS DON’T BASE YOUR SALVATION ON ANOTHER PERSON’S BELIEF!!

Don’t worry about sins (past, present, or future) just accept God’s love for you and love Him back; love Him with all your heart, all your soul, all your might and let Him love on you and you love on Him – it’s ALL ABOUT JESUS AND BECOMING ACQUAINTED WITH HIM SO HE CAN TAKE YOU TO THE FATHER AND ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GUIDE YOUR HEART AND MIND WITH GOD’S PEACE WHICH SURPASS ALL YOUR UNDERSTANDING – STOP TRYING TO FIGURE STUFF OUT AND JUST BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT! GOD HAS ALREADY ORDERED YOUR STEPS SO WALK IN THE WAY HE LEADS YOU TO GO!!

 

Beginning today, declare “I am hid IN Christ  and I am the righteousness of God IN Christ!” It does not matter what happen or has happened or will happen, you are still the righteousness of God in Christ because of the finished work of Jesus it has NOTHING to do with anything you have done or will do!! Accept this truth from God’s Word and rest in Jesus!!

Remember, man made righteousness comes from the Law but the righteousness of God is based on faith in Christ – in what He has ALREADY done for us – HIS finished work!!

Philippians 3:9 tells us this: “And might be found in him,  that is, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the Law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, even the righteousness which is of God through faith” (biblegateway.com - 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)
