“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"
Hello,
This week’s devotional is titled “Forgiving & Forgetting;” we can never study this subject to much. You’ll are probably busy so I try not to have the devotionals long but sometimes they come out that way. That’s why this devotional will be given to you in six (6) parts for easier reading and studying.
It is time for us to forgive everyone who has ever hurt us or offended us; let it all go so God can heal your hearts and minds. Jesus lets us know in Matthew 6:14- 15 that if we forgive men their trespasses against us, God will forgive us of our trespasses but if we do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will God forgive us. Therefore, let’s make up our minds once and for all to forgive; let’s get free you’ll and stay free – let’s not allow the enemy to cause us to walk in offense and unforgiveness.
I beseech you to allow the Holy Spirit minister to you as you study each part of this devotional; ask God to search your hearts and minds and reveal to you who you need to forgive (if any one) and ask Him to purge you with hyssops as David did. 1 John 1: 9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (www.biblegateway.com – NIV).
I pray that the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds and that you walk in His peace; the peace that surpasseth all of our understanding.
