Recovery For Abused Women

“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"

YouVersion Daily Devotional From April 2, 2011

April 2, 2011 reading from the YouVersion Life Application Bible App Reading Plan for iPhones is a reference of Proverbs 3:3 which states:

Proverbs 3:3 (Amplified Bible)

“Let not mercy and kindness [shutting out all hatred and selfishness] and truth [shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood] forsake you; bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart” (www.biblegateway.com).

Devotional:
“Love and kindness are important character qualities. Both involve actions as well as attitudes. A loving person not only feels love; he or she also acts loyally and responsibly. A kind person works for justice for others. Thoughts and words are not enough-our lives reveal whether we are truly loving and kind. Do your actions measure up to your attitudes?”

Wow! This is something to think about! Once we allow our “real” love and kindness, the God kind to rule our lives, we will find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight [or judgment] of God and man (www.biblegateway.com – Proverbs 3:4 – Amplified Bible).

In His Service,
Dr. Hooks

Thank you; I just want to bask in God's presence more and more! I want my teachings and revelations to only come from Him not from my soul - I want to be led by the Holy Spirit so people will benefit from the Word of God! God bless you Prophetess Lai and your ministry; may God continually bless you. Shalom!

Thank you for the posting.

I love this passage specially... " Once we allow our “real” love and kindness, the God kind to rule our lives, we will find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight [or judgment] of God and man "
