God Is…I Am... Devotional (100 Days to A Renewed Mind) TBN - Days 99 & 100 - May 4 & May 5 2019

Hello Everyone, we made it!! YAY!! Thank God we were able to go through the FULL 100 days, of discovering who God is, and who we are in God, because of what Christ HAS done for us!! We are sooooo very blessed, to have a God like our God, who loves us UNCONDITIONALLY; no matter what we have done in our lives, God loves us so much, that He sent His ONLY Son Jesus, to die for us!! Jesus has paid the price for us; Jesus has not only taken away our sins, but sickness, disease, infirmities, shame, guilt, and ANYTHING else, that comes to steal, kill, and destroy from us!! Jesus took the punishment for ALL mankind, upon Himself and freed us from ALL condemnation by God; we are no longer condemn!! This benefit is available to whoever accepts Jesus as his or her Lord and Savior; Jesus is the ONLY Way to the Father, and to eternal life with God!! I pray that these devotionals have been a blessing to you! I am attaching the complete 100 days, broken into parts, for your convenience, so you can go through them as many times as you like - disregard the dates and just start with Day 1 and continue on. Have a blessed day, weekend, and next week! Let's go into the last devotional!

God Is…I Am… Devotional

Day 99 – 5/4/19: RENEWING TRUTH:

God is My Eternal Life

RENEWING SCRIPTURE:

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

JOHN 17:3, NKJV

RENEWING THOUGHT:

This life is but a vapor. A wisp. In the context of eternity, our time on this planet scarcely amounts to the blink of an eye. That is why the fact that you responded to God’s loving offer of connection and relationship through Jesus is so unspeakably consequential.

Being connected to the Author of Life through His Son is eternal life. Jesus is “the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25). Eternal life is only found in Him. Jesus said of us, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:28).

As you navigate the hectic daily demands of life in the 21st century, it is easy to lose sight of heaven and eternity. You tend to forget the infinitely substantial, currently invisible realm when you’re constantly surrounded by things you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. The transient, tenuous nature of life is forgotten when you’re bombarded by demands that seem urgent but, in the long run, are meaningless.

Keep eternity in view. Find ways to remind yourself that this life isn’t the main thing, but rather only a prelude to something far more real. With anticipation and excitement, keep Paul’s exhortation in your thoughts; namely that: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9, NKJV).

You have been given a most extraordinary gift; eternal life.

RENEWING INSPIRATION:

You can enjoy the blessings of your loving heavenly Father today. Why not reach out now and take His hand? As you do, you will begin to see Him more clearly as your Father, and you as His child, and His life will be miraculously expressed through you.

Day 100 – 5/5/19: RENEWING TRUTH:

I Am a Joint Heir with Jesus

RENEWING SCRIPTURE:

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

ROMANS 8:16-17, NIV

RENEWING THOUGHT:

As you have repeatedly seen on the preceding pages, the Bible declares clearly and emphatically that, as a born-again Believer, you are God’s child. He has chosen you, adopted you, put His name upon you, and sealed you with His Holy Spirit.

When God raised Jesus from the dead, He became “the firstborn” of many brethren (see Romans 8:29). This means that in a very real sense you are a younger sibling of Jesus. The King of kings is not only your Lord, but your elder brother. And because you are not only related to Him, have been resurrected to new life in Him, you are now a co-heir with Him.

Of course, because you are so closely identified with and related to Jesus, you will sometimes suffer persecution in this life. But because you share in His sufferings, you will also share in His glory. Jesus told His disciples, “…In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, NKJV).

Hope in God. As a co-heir with Jesus, you have full access to God and can move freely around the courts of heaven. You are not an outsider. You are more than a friend. You are a child of God and a member of the royal family forever.

RENEWING INSPIRATION:

As a son and an heir of God, you inherit all the blessings of God which Jesus died to give you, including salvation, healing, provision, wholeness, favor, intimacy with God and answered prayers. And Jesus rose from the dead to make sure that what He died to give you, you get. He is alive today to enforce this rich, blood-bought inheritance in your life!
