God Is…I Am… Devotional

Day 93 – 4/28/19: RENEWING TRUTH:

God’s Desire is for All Israel to be Saved

RENEWING SCRIPTURE:

Dear brothers and sisters, the longing for my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved.

ROMANS 10:1, NLT

RENEWING THOUGHT:

The Jews are the one nation Paul specifically mentions with a longing for them to be saved. In Romans 10:1, he cries out to God asking that all Israel would be saved. God desires all people to be saved, but it is significant to take note that the Bible names Israel specifically. God has a plan for the salvation of the world. Romans 11:15 says about the Jews, “For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” You see, when the Jews did not accept Jesus the first time, salvation went to the world. Paul now asks-what will happen when the Jews do accept Jesus?

When the Jewish people accept Jesus as Messiah, it will be what the Bible calls, “life from the dead.” Spiritually speaking, when Israel is saved, it could be the key that brings the world out of spiritual darkness into spiritual life. Israel’s salvation could be the spark for worldwide revival. That would explain why the enemy has tried to destroy the Jews throughout history.

Pray that all Israel would be saved. It is good to align your prayers with God’s desires and plans. Pray that Israel would accept Jesus as their Messiah. When Israel accepts Jesus as Messiah and comes to salvation, it will bring about what the Bible calls life from the dead, worldwide.

 

RENEWING INSPIRATION:

There is a worldwide revival coming before the end of the world, and let me tell you what sets it off: the Jewish people accepting their Messiah.

Day 94 – 4/29/19: RENEWING TRUTH:

I Am a Witness to the Jewish People

RENEWING SCRIPTURE:

I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!

ROMANS 11:11-12, NKJV

RENEWING THOUGHT:

The Bible says that your faith is a witness to the Jewish people. You are a living testament to them of someone who has accepted salvation through Jesus. God has a plan to reach the Jewish people, and His plan includes the testimony and witness of Believers like you.

When the Jews rejected Jesus as Messiah the first time, salvation was offered to the world. Through the witness of present-day Believers in Jesus, the Jews will be provoked to jealousy and will wish to accept Jesus as their Messiah. When that day comes, their spiritual fullness will bring unprecedented blessing to the world.

Through their initial rejection of Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah, salvation was given to the Gentiles. The Bible says that part of the reason salvation was offered to the world was for the Jewish people to see it, become jealous of it, and want it as well. Salvation came to the Gentiles to provoke the Jews to jealousy.

God is not done with Israel. Far from it! He has a plan for the salvation of the world, and He has a plan for the salvation of Israel. You are part of God’s plan! You are a testimony to Israel. When Israel accepts Jesus as the Messiah and comes to salvation, it will mean fullness, spiritual life, and blessing to all!

RENEWING INSPIRATION:

When we reach Jewish people in our ministry, we have the salvation of the whole world in mind.
