Recovery For Abused Women

“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"

We must protect our heart and mind (by keeping them on the things of God - verse 8 below) because if the enemy takes control of these, he has control of us. Give them to God, He know how to keep them. Jesus has already made provisions for keeping our hearts and minds in perfect peace. He said in John 14:27:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (www.biblegateway.com-KJV).

God is going to take that peace Jesus left for us and guard our hearts and minds with it. But we must do something - Verse 6 of Phil 4:6-8:

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (www.bible.com –KJV).

Therefore, as Jesus said in John 14:27: “…Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

May God forever keep you in peace!! Remember, the storms may rage but as long as God's peace is guarding your heart and mind, NOTHING will shake you!!
