What Does God Say About It? (12. Entering God’s Rest Day 4)

Hello everyone, I KNOW you all AND your families are very well!! Because we have a GOOD, GOOD, GOOD, FATHER!!! Therefore, Father IS doing you and your families very well!!! This is “Day 4,” of our scripture study on “Entering Into God’s Rest,” to see what God is saying about it. With this topic, I will also include a teaching by the same name, “Entering Into God’s Rest,” by Glen Hartline.

REMEMBER, GOD’S WORD IS FINAL!! If God say something, He WILL perform it!! ALL God’s promises for us are “YES,” and we say, “AMEN” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

This is what 2 Corinthians 1:20 AMP says, “For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.”

This is what Andrew Wommack said in his “Living Commentary,” (free online version of the “Living Commentary”) about 2 Corinthians 1:20 in his “Notes 12 & 13:”

Note 12

The word “promise” or “promises” (this verse) carries the idea of a declaration assuring that one will do what he or she has said. The word “vow” is a synonym. All of God’s promises are sure because God cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18). If God broke His word to us, all creation would self-destruct because it is held together by the power of His Word (Hebrews 1:3).

Note 13

Paul was saying that all the promises of God are true and trustworthy. He doesn’t say one thing and mean another. If He promised it, He will do it. He has magnified His word even above His name (Psalms 138:2).

***End of Andrew’s Comments***

After today, we will have one more day, to study scriptures about “Entering Into God’s Rest. The is the last topic in our “Daily Scripture Interactive Study: What God Say About It” series.

As before, some scriptures listed in this section, may have been quoted before, but that’s okay, we will study them again – the Word never gets old.

Again, our goals for this interactive scripture bible study are still the same: to be more proactive with our daily scripture reading, it is a deeper study of the scriptures, and it also helps us to pray the scriptures, by inserting our names into the scriptures, as we meditate on them. Therefore, let’s DIVE into the Word of God!! Are you ready? Let’s go!!

12. Entering Into God’s Rest Scriptures (Entering Into God’s Rest Teaching by Glen Hartline):

Day 4: Psalm 23 NLT: “The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

What is YOUR observation of Psalm 23 NLT? What do YOU see?

What is God saying to YOU today, as YOU read Psalm 23 NLT? How can YOU apply Psalm 23 NLT to YOUR life?

What is YOUR prayer from Psalm 23 NLT?
