What Does God Say About It? (7. Fear Day 2)
Hello everyone, I KNOW you all AND your families are very well!! Because we have a GOOD, GOOD, GOOD, FATHER!!! Therefore, Father IS doing you and your families very well!!! This is “Day 2,” of studying our scriptures on topics that address our everyday lives. We are continuing today with our next topic, "Fear" to see what God is saying about it. Since we have a lot of scriptures in our introduction pages, you can either complete your interactive scripture study questions, or study the scriptures in this lesson. But the scripture with the study questions, is our main scripture for today.
We are going to see what God says about "Fear" which can also steal, kill, and destroy from us, if we don’t get rid of the root of it – CAST IT OUT OF OUR LIVES, OUR SOULS BY RENEWING OUR MINDS WITH GOD'S TRUTHS (Romans 12:1-2 AMP; “Spirit, Soul, Body” by Andrew Wommack)!! All the topics we have studied scriptures on, and will study scriptures on, are part of the things we deal with, in one way or another daily. But we CANNOT ALLOW these things to distract or hinder us from our relationship with God; we CANNOT ALLOW these things to cause us to turn our faces from God, take our attention off God!! Yes, life happens to all of us BUT we MUST NOT ALLOW the things that happens to us, to cause our hearts to be afraid or troubled – I know, I know that’s easier said than done!! But ALL THINGS are possible with God IF we only believe!!
NO MATTER WHAT it looks like, we MUST believe God’s Word over ALL else!! God’s WORD IS FINAL!! JESUS HAS taken care of EVERYTHING, that would come to steal, kill, and destroy us, given us ABUNDANT LIFE, the VICTORY OVER EVERYTHING that tries to come against us in ANY WAY, the AUTHORITY OVER EVERYTHING that tries to harm us, and MOST of all, given us the Holy Spirit, our Helper, our Comforter, and SOOOOO MUCH MORE!! We are NEVER alone – Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit LIVES in us - They have taken their abode in us!! Therefore, we are NEVER alone – God PROMISED us in Deuteronomy 31:6, that He would NEVER leave us or forsake us!! And in Matthew 28:20 KJV, Jesus said, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
God is NOT a man that He should lie – God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8; James 1:17). Therefore, we have NOTHING to be afraid of!! God DID NOT give us a spirit of fear, timid, cowardliness, but of love, power, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 AMP).
I love how the Amplified Bible version of 2 Timothy 1:7 says it, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”
And 1 John 4:18 AMP says, “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”
Think about it – what did Adam, and Eve do, after they ate from the tree God told them not? They hid from God because they were “afraid” that God would punish them for eating from the tree (Genesis 3:8-9 AMP). Therefore, our fear is rooted in our soul from Adam, and Eve – they introduced fear into the world; into the souls of mankind!! Our souls are not automatically saved, after we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior – ONLY our spirits are!! We ARE FULLY ALIVE in together with Christ, in our spirits, and NO longer dead in our sins (Colossians 2:13-15 AMP)!! That’s why it is so very important for us to renew our minds with the Word of God so we can know what Jesus did for us, know who we are in Him, know Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and to put our souls under subjection of Holy Spirit – Who lives in us (Romans 12:1-2 AMP; 1 Corinthians 3:16 AMP) (Andrew Wommack’s teaching on “Spirit, Soul, Body”).
But once we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we don’t have to live in fear any longer because God’s PERFECT LOVE for us, through Jesus, DRIVES OUT ALL FEAR!! We don’t have to fear being punished by God because Jesus paid our sin debt, gave us HIS righteousness, and NOW we are at peace with God – God is NOT mad at us (Colossians 2:13-15 AMP; Andrew Wommack’s teaching on “The True Nature of God”)!!
Romans 5:1 AMP tells us this: “Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed)” (Romans 5:1-5 AMP).
As I stated before, I am attaching a copy of the outline for the topics of the scriptures, as a separate document to each “Daily Scripture Interactive Study.” This is a tool, for you to follow along with the topics we will be studying. And you can study the next day’s scripture, or next topic in advance if you like.
For the next three days, we will be studying scriptures on "Fear" and then we will go to the next topic which is "Trusting Man." This is still an interactive scripture study but there will be a secondary topic – “What Does God Say About It?” Some scriptures we may have studied before, but that’s okay, we will study again – the Word never gets old. Our goals for this interactive scripture bible study are still the same: to be more proactive with our daily scripture reading, it is a deeper study of the scriptures, and it also helps us to pray the scriptures, by inserting our names into the scriptures, as we meditate on them. Remember, since there are a lot of scriptures in the introduction pages, you can study those scriptures, or our main scripture for today. I will still put the questions for our scripture study, with today’s scripture lesson, so you can them with this lesson.
