Daily Scripture Interactive Study for October 1, 2022

Hello everyone, I pray you all and your families are well!! And I pray this interactive scripture study, is helping you in your daily walk with Jesus, as His disciple. Here is our interactive scripture study for today. As I mentioned before, an interactive scripture study will help us be more proactive with our daily scripture reading; it is a deeper study of the scriptures, also helps us to pray the scriptures, and meditate on them better. Therefore, let’s DIVE into the Word of God!! Are you ready? Let’s go!!

Today our scripture is coming from Romans 12:1-2 NLT which tells us, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

My Commentary & Prayer:

My observation, what I see, what God is saying to me, how to apply Romans 12:1-2 NLT to my life, & Prayer: God is letting me know how I am supposed to live now that I have accepted Jesus as my personal Lord, and Savior. I am to give my body to God as a living and holy sacrifice – Jesus already made me righteous – He put me in right standing with God. I don’t have to do any performing acts to be holy – I am saved by faith in what Jesus HAS done for me and not by my own works. My responsibility is to renew my mind to God’s Word, which is His way of thinking, doing, and being, and NOT be conformed to the ways of the world.

I will apply Romans 12:1-2 NLT to my life by continually renewing my mind with the Word of God so that the Word can change the way I think – the Word in my heart, and soul, will drive out wrong thinking, and stabilize my life!!

“Father, I present my body to You as a living sacrifice, which is my reasonable service!! Because YOU have done great things in my life – YOU kept me through many dark things!! I thank Jesus that I AM holy and accepted unto You NOW!! I know I am already made accepted to You Father by Jesus!! But as an act of choice, I CHOOSE to give You me; ALL of me – NOTHING hidden – I am Yours Father, I am Yours Jesus, I am Yours Holy Spirit!! I will continually renew my mind with Your Word Father, until Your Word saturate my heart, and soul!! And since according to Colossians 3:1, that tells me, I “have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead],” I CHOOSE to “keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God!!”
