Daily Scripture Interactive Study for September 2, 2022

Hello everyone, I pray you all and your families are well!! Here is our interactive scripture study for today. As I mentioned before, an interactive scripture study, will help us be more proactive with our daily scripture reading; it is a deeper study of the scriptures, it also helps us to pray the scriptures, and meditate on them better. Therefore, let’s DIVE into the Word of God!! Are you ready? Let’s go!!

Today our Scripture is from 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV), which says, 6 Therefore humble yourselves (emphasis placed by me) under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

What is YOUR observation of 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV)? What do YOU see? My observation of 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) is that Jesus HAS DONE EVERYTHING I need to have done in my life already. What I NEED to do now, is embrace JESUS’ FINISHED works – NOT try to make things happen, because JESUS ALREADY MADE THEM HAPPEN FOR ME! Just ACCEPT AND REST in what Jesus HAS DONE for me – STOP living according to my flesh – STOP believing what I see, feel, etc., and believe what God’s Word is saying and not what my flesh is saying.

What is God saying to YOU today, as YOU read 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV)? How can YOU apply 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) to YOUR life? Today, God is saying to me, NO MATTER what I face, I HAVE VICTORY OVER IT!! 1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV tells me, NO weapon formed against me shall prosper and sickness, disease, infirmity, pain, etc. are weapons! I CHOOSE to believe God’s Word, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and live the ABUNDANT LIFE Jesus gave me!! I can apply 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) to my life by remembering, Jesus HAS conquered EVERYTHING for me, and given me the VICTORY over them!! ALL I HAVE TO DO IS REST IN WHAT JESUS HAS DONE!! JESUS HAS GIVEN ME VICTORY OVER EVERYTHING I FACE!!

What is YOUR prayer from 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV)? My prayer from 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV): Father, NEVER let me forget what Jesus HAS DONE for me – NO MATTER how much pain I am in, I KNOW I HAVE JESUS’ VICTORIES for me, AND I want to FOREVER have those VICTORIES in the forefront of my mind so I can REST in them!! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!!
