“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"
IV. Words of Encouragement – Session 17 - Part F-2
Once we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we are given the right to become children of God; if you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you are not God’s child (John 1:12).
You have the basics here to get you started on your healing journey; to aggressive go after your healing – it is your, Jesus has given it to you!
While you are waiting for your healing to be manifested in your body, keep moving forward; don’t sit looking for the pain or sickness to leave. God told me this on a Wednesday night (May 24, 2017), while I was in prayer at Church; will not forget it.
We should keep doing what God told us to do, not sit and ask God, "How long?" In the Bible everyone Jesus healed, they immediately got up and got busy doing what they were supposed to do. One incident comes to mind: Jesus told the ten lepers to go show themselves to the priest and as they went, they were cleansed; they were healed. They did not just sit there; they moved when Jesus told them to move. The Word says faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26)!
Yes, you are in pain! Yes, it hurt when you move! Yes, it might seem hopeless! Trust me, I know!! I am in constant, 24/7, 365 days of pain; have not been without pain in a longggggg time! So, I know what it is like to constantly be in pain! BUT God!!! God is able to do exceeding abundantly above ALL we could ask or think, according to the Power in us (Ephesians 3:20).
IV. Words of Encouragement – Session 17 - Part F-3
We must begin to move like we are already healed; move by faith – no matter how painful it is to move! Because faith is not seeing first but walking things out BEFORE we see the healing manifest! Hebrews 11:1-10 gives us just some of the people who believed God and saw results; it also tells us what faith is – “1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation” (biblesgateway.com – ESV).
Another Scripture I want to share with you is 2 Corinthians 4:18: “as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal” (biblegateway.com – ESV). Don’t look at what is going on but keep your eyes fixed on Jesus! Your healing will be manifested in your body, according to your faith!
Jesus said in Mark 11:22-25:
“22 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received[a] it, and it will be yours. 25 And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses” [b] (biblegateway.com – ESV).
