God Has Brought Me THROUGH MANY Storms!!

Thank God for bringing me THROUGH the storm safely as I left Church last night!! Then I had just gotten in the house good, and it started storming in my town too!!

I owe God, and give Him ALL the glory, honor, and praise for my life!!! To God be the glory for my life!!!

God has taken me THROUGH MANY of life’s storms AND He still is taking me THROUGH them!!! God DIDN’T cause the storms in my life - they were a result of many things - some were even caused by me!!

I am in no way condemning myself because I KNOW I am loved by God and He HAS forgiven me, washed my slate clean because of Jesus!!! But I am letting you know, when we don’t wait for God, and go off and do our own thing, there WILL BE consequences!!! We open the door, and the devil slips in!!

We give the devil too much credit - the things that’s happening in our lives, are not always the devil - the devil has no power over us unless we give him our power, like Eve did!!

Jesus gave us power and authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19 - the SAME Power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us - Romans 8:11) and EVERYTHING else that would ever come to steal, kill, and destroy from us (John 10:10)!! Most of all, Jesus Himself defeated the devil and gave us the victory!! That’s why Jesus told us in John 16:33 AMP:

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]”

As I said, we ALREADY have the victory over the enemy and EVERYTHING else we face because Jesus gave it to us!!! What we must do in order to walk in that victory, the PERFECT PEACE JESUS gave us (John 16:33), is ALWAYS listen to the voice of God - allow Holy Spirit to lead us in the way we should and should not go as we keep our minds stayed on God (Isaiah 26:3)!!

Don’t go off on our own - we should NEVER get tired of waiting for God to give us direction!! God is NOT withholding anything good from us!! Let’s just trust God, and His timing for things to happen in our lives!! We will NEVER be sorry, or disappointed, when we wait for God to move for us instead of doing things our own way, and when WE want it!!

When we jump ahead of God, we are saying, “It’s taking too long!! I can go ahead and do this myself!!” And that’s where we mess up!! We have leaned to our own understanding, and not allowed God to direct our path (Proverbs 3:5-6)!!

Let’s make up in our minds, we are going to wait for the LORD and once we do, our strength WILL be renewed, we WILL be able to run and NOT be weary and walk and NOT grow tired. This is what Isaiah 40:31 AMP says, “But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising towards the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.”

This happens when we wait for AND CONFIDENTLY EXPECT God to do us well and NOT just waiting by twiddling our thumbs!! But we are waiting as Psalms 27:14 AMP says, “Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the LORD.”

Bottomline, trust God ABOVE EVERYTHING else - NO MATTER how it looks, TRUST GOD!!! Wait for HIM!! GOD GOT US!! God is NEVER late!!
