Recovery For Abused Women

“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"

Sometimes we look around at other people and see how God is causing their lives to soar and we get discouraged. If this is happening to you, don’t be discouraged because God has not forgotten about you. Every person is different and God deals with each person differently. So, it’s their season to flourish in the things of God and the vision He has given them now but your time is coming soon. Don’t get angry and bitter at them either; it is God who causes them to prosper. Be honest with yourself and check your hearts; God knows if any envy or jealousy has set in and you need to repent so you can be blessed - don’t let the spirit of Cain come in (you can murder someone without actually carrying out the act). Remember the story of Cain and Abel (Genesis 4)? Cain was jealous of his brother Abel because he brought a better offering to God than Cain did and God rejected his offering; God knew Cain was jealous and tried to warn him before he sinned. God told Cain in Gen. 4:6-7:

“6 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it"’ (NIV – www.bible.com).

I don’t care how anointed, saved, Holy Ghost filled, etc., you think you are, you are still in this fleshly body on this earth; no one has arrived yet. That mean you are still prone to the devil attacks; envy and jealousy (sin) can be “crouching at your door…but YOU must master it); so watch and pray – don’t let the devil fool you.

We cannot put an exact time on when God is going to bring the vision to pass He has given us or when we are going to flourish in God’s promises. God does not see time as we do; a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day with God (2 Peter 3:8). Don’t worry about the promises being fulfilled because God is going to do what He said He would do; He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19).

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (NIV – www.bible.com)

God made a promise to Noah after he came out of the Ark and offered God a sacrifice in Genesis 8:20-22. God said in verse 22: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest…shall not cease” (KJV – www.bible.com).

So as long as we are on this earth, God still has time to do what He said He was going to do; it is not too late for your visions, dreams, or plans that God has given you to come to pass – they will not die. You are in the right place at the right time NOW; don’t say, “I shall have been further along in God than I am.” No, God knew you was going to be where you and when you would get there. He has already gone to the end of your life completed the work and now, He is walking you through the process He has already gone through; He has prepared the way for you - your footsteps are ordered by Him (Ps. 37:23). And everything that gets in your way that is not of God, He has taken care of that too (Romans 8:28; Isaiah 54:17).

Romans 8:28:
“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose” (Amplified Bible – www.bible.com).

Isaiah 54:17:
“But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord” (Amplified Bible – www.bible.com).

Just remember, God is in total control of your life. Don’t be discouraged because it seems as if you are not moving toward your destiny or your vision is not going to come to pass; it shall happen but it will happen in God’s timing not yours - He knows when you are ready to go forth.

As God told Jeremiah in Jeremiah 29:11, He is telling you today:

“I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for” (The Message Bible – www.bible.com).

God is not trying to hold you back or keep you down, He loves you with unconditional love, and He only want the best for you; so don’t get in a hurry and spoil His plans for you – wait on Him to advance you – you will get everything He promised you.

In the meantime, don’t worry about what God is doing in somebody else’s life; you stay faithful to Him and keep your focus on Him so your promises won’t be delayed – in due season you SHALL reap, if you faint not (Gal. 6:9).

KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON GOD!
