Recovery For Abused Women

“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"

God has not forgotten about you; He loves you. He is your way of escape out of whatever you are going through; just call upon Him and trust Him to bring you out. God said in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you…” And again in Psalm 91:15, “When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them” (www.biblegateway.com – NLT). These are promises from God and He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). God can and will bring you out of ANY situation but you must do something: call to Him and believe (adhere to, trust in, rely on) Him; that’s it.

Yes, God sees your pain; He sees your situation and the circumstances which were caused by your situation but you must invite Him into your situation and circumstance. God is a gentleman; He does not bogard His way into your life, that’s why He tells us to “Call to Me.” You do have someone you can depend upon: God. He will never neglect, abandon, reject, or forget you; God will never leave you nor forsake you.

Don’t stay in your present state any longer; there is a way out – today: Jesus. Jesus is the only way to the Father. First, you invite Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and Savior, and then He will take you unto the Father. Therefore, you don’t have to live in hopelessness any longer.

Don’t worry that you are still sinning, don’t say, “When I stop __________ I will come to Jesus,” or “There is no way God can love me.” All these thoughts are from the devil. God loves you just where you are; He sent His Son Jesus to die for you and wash your sins and sicknesses away. God loves you but He does not love the sin. You will never be able to stop sinning on your own; that’s why we needed a Savior, Jesus, to die for us. He restored us back to the Father by taking our sins upon His own self.

Jesus gives us the invitation to come to Him in Matthew 11:28-30: 28“…’Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gently at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear and the burden I give you is light'” (www.biblegateway.com – NLT). So come to Jesus now; you don’t have to wait any longer. Jesus is your way to having real peace, the peace no one or no thing can give you. This is your day of liberation! This is your day of finally being free! No matter what you are going through. No matter where you are in your life; you can come to Jesus right now.

This message is also for those who have backslidden; you can come back to God now too, today! God has not forgotten about you either! God is married to the backslider (Jeremiah 3:14). So come home today! God is calling all backsliders back to Him this day because you have been gone too long; come home!

Jesus is calling all who are burdened down, feel hopeless/helpless, weary, have been or are being neglected, abandoned, rejected, cast away, don’t see no way out, in despair, etc. Jesus is calling you ALL today! This is your day of deliverance! Again, this is what Jesus is saying to you, as He said in Matthew 11:28: “Come unto me all who are weary and I will give you rest” (www.biblegateway.com – NLT). Jesus is offering you that rest today; just reach out your hand and accept His help. Say the prayer below now:

“Dear Jesus, 1 John 1:9 says if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and You would cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I confess my sins before You this day, asking You to forgive me and come into my life and live Your life through me now. You also said Jesus, in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter who will teach us all things, so I invite the Holy Spirit in to teach me the things of the Father. I thank you Father for washing me in the precious blood of Jesus and giving me the gift of eternal life and the Holy Spirit to help me live my new life daily. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

To God be the glory,
