LET IT ALL GO!!! IT’S NOT WORTH IT!!!
If we as humans, love others as God loves us, there would not be any bickering, or hatred amongst us!!
John 3:16 AMP: “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
Let’s do better with our love walk!! Let’s STOP being so judgmental, and critical of each other!! And show people grace and mercy like God shows us!!
If they mess up, hurt us, etc., let’s not beat them down, talk about them, or get angry, and stop speaking to them!! But let’s quickly forgive, release them from their debt WE think they owe us, and love them the same as if they have never hurt us, so we can keep moving in the love of God, towards our God given destinies!! GOD FORGAVE US WHILE WE WERE SINNERS, THEREFORE, LET’S FORGIVE OTHERS!!
Because unforgiveness stops us in our tracks – the hurt, pain, and ALL other results of unforgiveness, causes us to be stuck right where we got offended!! We immediately put up a wall to protect ourselves, so we won’t get hurt again (I did)!! But we don’t realize, the wall not only keep us from having relationships with others, but also a REAL, INTIMATE relationship with God!!
We have closed our hearts!! Therefore, we cannot give out love, nor receive love!! Then we say, “I will NEVER allow anyone to hurt me again” or “I will NEVER let people into my heart” (or something to this effect - I said these things in my own way)!! When our subconscious mind hears that, and those words enters our hearts, the subconscious mind will set out to make what you said happen. We have what we say – good or bad (Proverbs 18:21).

When we think the wall will keep out the hurt, we are only fooling ourselves – as long as we are in this fallen world, we WILL be hurt by people!! BUT it’s how WE handle that hurt!! Are we going to handle it GOD’S WAY, or the world’s way? I CHOOSE GOD’S WAY!!
Jesus tells us in John 16:33 (NIV), “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” I suggest you read the complete chapter of John 16 – Jesus is talking with His disciples.
We will NEVER move beyond the offense, until we forgive the person from our heart!! And it takes God to help us, get pass offense/unforgiveness!! Let’s just STOP being easily offended and grow into MATURE women and men of GOD!! We do this by hiding the Word of God in our hearts – cultivating our hearts with the Word and ALLOWING the Word to take out the junk we have in there!!
John Bevere has a book titled, The Bait of satan (Living Free from the Deadly Trap of Offense)!! In this book, John talks about how offense is the very core of the bait of satan!!
In my own experiences with offense, I KNOW it’s cunning, sneaky, and deadly like it’s master, the devil!! People do or say something to hurt you and there it starts!! Next thing, you are offended, then the next thing is unforgiveness if you don’t forgive quickly!! You stew on what that person did, or said to you, and stop speaking to them!! Then you talk about what they did to you, etc. to anyone who will listen – spewing the poison venom of the enemy, from the toxic thoughts he planted in our heads!!
Remember, the devil has NO power or authority over us unless WE give it to him – like Eve!! The devil causes people to hurt us, then plant seeds of negativity, hatred, revenge, and other nasty things in our minds for us to spew negative things out our mouths against that person!!
That’s NOT GOD’S WAY!! GOD’S WAY is to forgive, love, and BLESS them who hurt you!! Jesus tells us in Luke 6:27-28 (NIV), “27But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (biblegateway.com).
If you don’t deal with that offense GOD’S WAY, your heart WILL increasingly grow more bitter day by day!! And you and everyone else around you will see that change in you – you can’t hide it!! And if you still don’t go to God with that issue, a root of bitterness will take hold of your heart, from the offense/hurt, that caused the unforgiveness (Hebrews 12:15)!!
And when you get upset with that person, you get upset with mostly everyone, or when other situations, that resembles the situation that caused you to be hurt come, it throws you back into the same slump, the original one did!! Because what has happened is, since the first person hurt you, and you said no one would ever hurt you again, you begin to filter every relationship after that one. And if someone does something to you that the other person who hurt you did, or if that new action resembles the old one, your subconscious mind remembers and causes you to act in a way to protect yourself. I DEFINITELY HIGHLY recommend that you study my teaching, “Come OUT of the Wilderness,” to learn more about the subconscious mind.
If you don’t ask Holy Spirit to help you, you will turn to a mean, bitter person, not trusting anyone, including God!! Not trusting God will cause you to not run to Him, but run away from Him!! You will think God doesn’t love you either, just like people don’t!! Also, you will cause people who REALLY love you, to leave your life – not because they want to, but because YOU pushed them out of your life!! I KNOW!!! I BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!!!
I don’t know about you, but I want to make room in my heart for God, by LETTING GO of ALL anger, bitterness, hatred, unforgiveness, hurt, and ANYTHING else that may have slipped in when people hurt me – if ANY is STILL in my soul!! The soul is where traumas hide!! But God’s Word will drive it out, when to put the Word in!!
I CHOOSE GOD AND HIS WAYS OF LOVING PEOPLE, AND NOT THE WAYS OF THE WORLD, TO DEAL WITH HOW TO BEHAVE WHEN PEOPLE HURT ME!!! I LET ALL HURTS GO AND I FORGIVE EVERYONE WHO HAS HURT ME IN ANY WAY!!! I LOVE THEM WITH THE LOVE OF GOD!!! AND I BLESS THEM AND NOT CURSE THEM (NOT TALK UGLY ABOUT THEM – SPEW NEGATIVITY OUT MY MOUTH ABOUT THEM)!!!
I know before when people would hurt me, the more I talked about that thing, the angrier I became, and the deeper the unforgiveness got in my heart!! WOW!! GOD HAS BROUGHT ME FROM A MIGHTY LONG WAYS!! As Andrew Wommack said, I have not arrived, but I HAVE left the station!! I KNOW GOD HAS GIVEN ME ALL THINGS PERTAINING TO LIFE AND GODLINESS NOW! Therefore, I stay close to God, putting HIS Word in my heart, to cultivate the soil of my heart with the truth of God’s Word!
I WILL NOT ALLOW the devil TO ENTER INTO MY HEART BY BEING OFFENDED, AND BRINGING BITTERNESS, AND UNFORGIVENESS!!! I CHOOSE TO FORGIVE ALL WHO HAVE EVER HURT ME IN MY LIFETIME!!! NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAN GOD!!! I KEEP MY HEART OPEN TO GOD AND CLOSED TO the devil AND his TACTICS!!!
I CHOOSE GOD, I CHOOSE JESUS, I CHOOSE HOLY SPIRIT!!! I LOVE YOU FATHER, I LOVE YOU JESUS, I LOVE YOU HOLY SPIRIT!!! And I love God’s people – His creation!!
I want to end by asking anyone that I may have offended, in any way, to forgive me!! I love you all with the LOVE OF GOD – NOT my idea of love but GOD’S LOVE that flows out of my spirit by Holy Spirit!!
Remember: NEVER ALLOW what ANYONE does or says to you, to cause you to get caught in satan’s trap of offense!! QUICKLY go to God and ask Him to help you to forgive them!!! Forgiveness is not easy, but it is possible with God’s help – NOTHING is impossible with God!!

The First Resource:

Remember in reading the scriptures, to ask Holy Spirit to give you interpretation of what you are reading! The Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are in the New Testament, but they are a part of the Old Testament – Old Covenant, the Law of Moses. The New Covenant began after Jesus’ death – we are no longer under the Mosaic Law, but under grace and truth, the New Covenant because of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection (John 1:16-18). God has ALREADY forgiven our sins because of Jesus. Therefore, if we don’t forgive others, God will still forgive us (listen to Session 3, of my “Forgiveness Program” – the complete teaching is on the resource page).

The Second Resource: Before you can recover from the hurt of offense, YOU must ALLOW GOD to heal your heart!! And this teaching by Pastor Clint Byars, “How To Guard And Heal A Sick Heart With Grace And Peace” WILL DEFINITELY help you do that!!
I KNOW it will, because it helped me get to this point where I am now; today, July 26, 2022!! And I only been listening to it for a couple of days! I have had MANY hurts in my life – one just recently!! But thank God for this message by Pastor Clint – I received it just in time!!
While I was listening to it over and over to heal from other recent hurts, I got wounded AGAIN by someone I love dearly!!
But I kept listening to Pastor Clint’s message and GOD CHANGED ME!!! I BELONG TO GOD AND HE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO STAY THE SAME – WALKING AROUND HEARTBROKEN, KNOWING I NEEDED TO HEAR FROM GOD!!! AND GOD LOVES ME TOO MUCH TO LEAVE ME IN A BROKEN STATE!! WHEN GOD WOKE ME UP THIS MORNING (JULY 26, 2022), HE, AND NOBODY ELSE, HAD CHANGED ME; GOD CHANGED MY HEART AFTER LISTENING TO PASTOR CLINT’S MESSAGE!!
I Heard the statement in my spirit, that I opened this message with, the morning of the 26th after I woke up, “If we as humans, love others as God loves us, there would not be any bickering, or hatred amongst us.” I didn’t know that would lead to this message – I was going to just post it on Facebook. But God had another plan for it, and I CHOOSE to listen to GOD AND obey HIM!!
The Third Resource: this resource will help you also, get set free from the effects of the offense – unforgiveness, which leads to bitterness. It is from a Domestic Violence Seminar, Minister Everett James, Eastern Missouri Bible College, and I taught beginning in July 2020. This is the first teaching in the “Journey of Freedom,” series. And it is titled, "Journey of Freedom: Importance of Forgiveness" Program 2020 & ... I learned after God delivered me from the LAST abusive marriage in September 2006, just how important forgiveness was!! It is the complete teaching, with our YouTube video sessions.
The Fourth Resource: this resource is a teaching from our Associate Pastor, Terrence Demps, at my church, LakeHaven – it was the message he taught on Sunday, July 24, 2022. The message title is, “Gardening Your Heart.” Pastor T, fully explains how to garden/cultivate our hearts with the Word.
