NO Generational Curses!!

I heard again the other day (5-26-2022), about generational curses!!! WE ARE NOT UNDER GENERATIONAL CURSES OR ANY OTHER CURSES!

Galatians 3:13 CLEARLY tells us that! It says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”

But Paul is not finish speaking (I normally stop at vs 13 but that night while I was reading, I continued to vs 14):

“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

In my studying, I found the Scripture that talked about generational curses which was Exodus 20:4-6 - this is the second of the Ten Commandments. I looked up that Scripture, and Galatians 3:13 in Andrew Wommack’s Living Commentary. And found these trues – this is what Andrew said:

“This curse in Exodus 20:4-6, is the curse on those who break the second commandment unto the third and fourth generation was repeated in Exodus 34:7 and Numbers 14:18.

But both Ezekiel (Ezekiel 18:1-4) and Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:29-30) prophesied an end to this curse. Jeremiah went on in the verses after his prophecy to speak of the New Covenant we now have in Christ (Jeremiah 31:31-34).

Galatians said Jesus died to redeem us from the curse of the Law (Galatians 3:13). If the punishment has changed or been eliminated, then the Law has changed too.”

After reading these trues in Andrew’s commentary, I KNOW without a shadow of doubt, that we are not under any generational curse – that was a confirmation of what God had been told me awhile back and the devil TRIED to steal it!!

God deals with each individual person and will not make a child pay for the parent’s sins or vice versa. Just as Jesus provided salvation for ALL, He provided healing, and restoration (it automatically comes with healing), and freedom from curses for ALL – we just must believe what He did, accept Him, and take what He ALREADY gave us – we just need to receive!! And I am learning ALL this!! As Andrew says, I have not arrived, but I have left the station. Thank God!!

We are NOT under ANY curse - we ARE BLESSED and NOT cursed!!!! If you think you are cursed, then you don’t KNOW who you are in Christ and you definitely don’t KNOW Father, Jesus, or Holy Spirit!! Plus, you have tied YOURSELF to the law of the Old Covenant because you believe you are still under the law. And if you believe you are under the law still, you are doing some kind of works (performing) to “please” God. Galatians 3:10 says, “For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.’”

You see, performance-based living, ties you to the law – your righteousness is NOT based on what you do, but what Christ DID!! Christ HAS set you free but you still living in bondage because you have not received, accepted what He HAS done for you!!

I am not being mean, just stating the truth!! I thank God for putting people in my life who tells me the truth – two of them comes to mind now – they go to my Church. One just talked with me Wednesday night, and the other one last week – he and she knows who they are.

We are NOT under the Old Covenant any longer but have a New Covenant because of Jesus!!! There are many Scriptures that tells us this.  It is VERY, VERY critical that we KNOW, not with our head, but our heart, who we are in Christ, who Father is, who Jesus is, who Holy Spirit is – OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST!!! KNOWING this, will SHUT DOWN EVERY lie of the devil, EVERY false doctrine, we hear!!! Think about it, does it make any sense, for God to put all the things Jesus took off us, sin, sickness, disease, infirmity, pain, curses, etc., back on us, after Jesus suffered ALL the things He went through????  ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! The Word says by Jesus’ stripes we WERE healed (Isaiah 53:1-5; 1 Peter 2:24)!! GOD IS NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD LIE, NEITHER THE SON OF MAN THAT HE SHOULD REPENT: HATH HE SAID, AND SHALL HE NOT DO IT? OR HATH HE SPOKEN, AND SHALL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD? (Numbers 23:19)

I will NEVER accept that we are, or I am, under ANY generational curse!! The devil is a LIAR!!!! Christ HAS redeemed me from the curse of the law, by becoming a curse for me (Galatians 3:13-14) and FREED me from EVERY curse, sin, sickness, disease, infirmity, pain (Isaiah 53:1-5; 1 Peter 2:24), and EVERY other thing, that comes to steal, kill, and destroy from me, and gave me ABUNDANT LIFE (John 10:10) and given me authority, to speak to EVERYTHING that tries to come against me in ANYWAY (Luke 10:19)!!! JESUS did that for me and I stand on it NO MATTER WHAT!!!
