3. Body: Before God breathed the breath of life into us, He formed us out of the dust of the ground (made our body) (Genesis 2:7). The body is where the spirit man and soul lives; it is the physical part of man. Jesus will redeem our body when He returns to get us (1 Corinthians 15:52). As I said before, flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50). Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:1-2 to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. We are not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind (soul – so the spirit man will win the battle over the soul); this way, we will be able to test and prove what God’s will is – His good and perfect will.
