The Whole Armor of God (Prelude)

People are not our enemy! We have ONLY one enemy and his name is satan; the root cause of EVERY evil, wicked, diabolical, destructive, etc. plans – the devil is the epitome of evil! The devil uses people (who yield to him) to come against us; he influences them to hurt us. The devil hates EVERYBODY, who names the Name of God; he hates EVERYTHING about God, so he will do ANYTHING to try and stop us from serving God! Therefore, it is NOT a person who hurt you, it is the spirit behind the person; don’t get angry at the person but get angry at the devil – use your authority Jesus gave you in Luke 10:19 against the devil!

Ephesians 6:12 lets us know, we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Don’t that describe the devil to a t? The devil is the god of this world until Jesus returns (2 Corinthians 4:4); the devil is full of darkness (Jesus is Light) and controls principalities, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places. It is satan, along with his many demons, who uses bodies to carry out their evil plans in the earth – just like God uses bodies, the devil does too. The devil is nothing but a copy cat; he ALWAYS copying off of God!

If we, the ones naming the Name of God, the ones who has accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, are going to stand against the wiles of the devil, in these evil days (now and coming), we MUST choose to put on and keep on, the WHOLE armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-11)!

The whole armor of God, is what causes us to be able to withstand (“To stand or hold out against; resist or oppose, especially successfully” – according to dictionary.com), in the evil day – the day the enemy use one or many, of his evil minions to come against us.

 

Today, I will start a new series (“The Whole Armor of God”) and this teaching, is the prelude to the series. Yesterday, God gave me a declaration/prayer from Ephesians 6:12-18 and I would like to share it with you all; I pray that it will help you all to put on God’s whole armor and keep it on – declare/pray the Word of God.

We must to put on the whole armor of God, just as we choose to accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, or choose to live for Him, or trust Him; we must choose God willingly. God does not force us to love Him; He wants us to love Him freely and if we love God, we will serve Him.

If you love God, want to serve Him, have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and want to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, make the decree and pray the prayer that I am attaching to this teaching and watch your life change for the better. I will post the first part of “The Whole Armor of God” series, later today.
