Wait On God for Your Healing!

I am writing this message to you all because I know there is an attack on the body of Christ with sickness. I myself have been battling because I know there is an attack on the body of Christ with sickness. I myself have been battling back pain which causes pain in other areas of my body; along with allergy issues, to food and meds. When I say “battling,” I mean using my faith to fight the good fight; coming against ALL that is bringing anything that is contrary to the Word of God to me!! I don’t have to battle with the devil; Jesus already has and WON the victory for me, making me more than a conqueror (Romans 8:31-39)! Although I am in constant pain, through the pain, I trust God more than ever; I KNOW that God is the ONLY One who can help me!  

Jesus gave me the victory not only over sin, but over sickness, disease, infirmities, and anything else that was punishment, if the Law was broken; and He gave it to everyone who accepted Jesus as YOUR personal Lord and Savior! The same Power who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in me and if you are born again, have accepted Jesus as YOUR personal Lord and Savior, the Power lives in you too! That Power is the Holy Spirit; God’s Spirit  living in man!

I refuse to be bullied by the devil; I refuse to live in fear of the things that are trying to attack my body! Greater is He (God) in me, than he (the devil) in the world! My mind goes back to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego; they refused to be bullied by the devil’s agent, King Nebuchadnezzar – they refused to bow to his idol gods (Daniel 3:16-20)! This is what Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego told King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3:17-18:

¹⁷ If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. ¹⁸ But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

Hahaha!! I love it!! They refused to bow to false gods!! This is my statement too!! I KNOW the God whom I serve, IS able to deliver me from WHATEVER the devil throws at me!! BUT IF God does not, when I think He should (He WILL deliver in His own timing), I will NEVER bow down to the devil!!! I WILL NEVER BOW DOWN TO SICKNESS!! I KNOW and believe the Word, that I AM HEALED NOW, by Jesus’ stripes! No ifs, ands, or buts! It is DONE NOW!!

Another encouraging story in the Bible is the steadfast faith of Job! WOW!! Job went THROUGH some stuff – it began in Job Chapter 1!! God did not put sickness on Job, God allowed Job’s faith to be tested by the devil and that was the test the devil chose; God knew Job would not turn against Him! James 1:2-4 says, “² Consider it nothing but joy, my ^[a^]brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. ³ Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. ⁴ And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing” (biblegateway.com – AMP). When we go THROUGH various trials, that is our faith being tested by giving us experience and produce endurance, so that we may be perfect and completely developed in our faith; lacking nothing – we will be able to stand up to anything because we will know God is with us!

Job was sick from Job 2 until Job 42, when God healed him, restored him, and gave Job more than he had in the beginning! Who knows how long 40 Chapters were? How long was Job REALLY sick? There is ALWAYS a good reason why we go through what we do; make sure it according to Word though (James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 1:7) and because of unforgiveness! God will let you know if you have unforgiveness against someone; in the way He can reach you! We MUST trust God and wait for Him to speak – whatever way He speaks!

I cannot say this enough: God DOES NOT PUT SICKNESS, DISEASE, OR ANY OTHER EVIL THING ON US; THAT IS THE DEVIL’S DOING!! God take what the devil did to us and turn it around for our good (Romans 8:28) – when you love Him and are called according to His plan and purpose!

I have settled in my mind, my soul, that I WILL WAIT ON GOD, to do whatever He is doing in me; I know when He finish, my COMPLETE healing will be manifested in my body, like Job’s was! God is a good, good Father and He loves us very much; unconditionally (“Good Good Father” by Chris Tomlin)!

I pray that you will be encouraged by this teaching and by the teaching of Gloria Copeland, that is attached. If you are being attacked in your body, know that God sees you and He loves you so very much; it might not seem like it but He does! Don’t get mad at God; He did not put sickness on you (I am saying this again) or caused your love one to die from sickness or any other cause – that was satan, the destroyer!! The devil wants you to think it is God, so you will be mad at God or not pray against the sickness; don’t be tricked! Jesus came that we might have abundant life (John 10:10)! But the devil is a thief and he is about stealing, killing, and destroying – that is the devil’s M.O. (modus operandi – that is what he does)!!

Trust God and not what you see; what you see is ONLY temporary but what you cannot see, is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18)! I don’t know about you, but I choose to wait on God and after the eternal things of God! I WILL WAIT until my full manifestation of my healing, Jesus paid for with His blood, comes to my body – I KNOW God can and He will bring it to pass! I will go through my test of faith, so I gain experience, endure, become spiritually matured, have inner peace, and my faith become complete (James 1:2-4)!

I pray you choose to wait for your healing too and don’t get impatient; remember always, James 1:2-4 – it will help you! God has already equipped you with everything you need, to carry out His will (Hebrews 13:21); just trust Him, go through you trials with joy, knowing God got you! I know, I know! Trials does not feel good! I know!! I know they hurt and you want out ASAP!! But, we might as well go through them and get them over with because as long as we are on this earth, we will have trials; you are NOT alone though – Jesus with you! Just as God was with Job, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and all the other people in the Bible, He will be with you and protect you! The enemy cannot run rampant in your life; just like God would not allow him to do what he wanted to do to Job (Job 1:12)! God will NEVER put more on you than you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Remember what Jesus said in John 16:33?  Jesus tells us in this world, we will have trials and tribulations; that we will suffer but for us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world for us! That is why we are more than conquerors; Jesus won the victory for us (Romans 8:31-39)! Fight the good fight of faith with the Word of God; believe His Word! Find encouraging Scriptures like Psalms 23 and Isaiah 53:4-5 which says,

 “⁴ Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].

⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole” (biblegateway.com – Amplified Bible, Classic Edition [AMPC]).

Another great Scripture to meditate on is Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord (biblegateway.com – AMP).

Remember, sickness, diseases, infirmities, afflictions, and any other thing that comes to steal, kill, and destroy us, are weapons; they are the consequences of the curse of the Law, for people who sin! Jesus has redeemed us FROM the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us – we are no longer condemned and sin has NO MORE power over us (Galatians 3:13; Romans 8; Romans 6)!

You cannot fight the good fight of faith, and speak negatively at the same time; you cannot agree with God’s Word and the devil at the same time! Therefore, watch what you say out of your mouth; don’t agree with the devil but agree with God’s Word! Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” To receive what Jesus has ALREADY provided for you, don’t focus on the pain, sickness, disease, etc., in your body but keep focused on what Jesus HAS DONE; you are healed by Jesus’ stripes NOW (Isaiah 53:4-5).

Also, focus on the fact that on the other side of that sickness, affliction, or whatever you are going through, is your spiritual maturity, inner peace, and your faith will be completely developed – lack nothing (James 1:2-4). You are already healed (Isaiah 53:4-5), already complete in Jesus (Colossians 2:10), but you need to be complete in your faith and YOU have to participate with God, for that to happen; YOU are responsible for growing your faith by hearing and applying the Word of God to your life! To help us grow our faith, God allows our faith to be tested (by trials and tribulations); our faith will be tested as fire test gold (1 Peter 1:6-7) but in the end, we will have great joy!

To keep from fainting during our faith testing process, we CANNOT lean to our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) but we MUST lean on the Holy Spirit; asking Him to comfort us, help us, lead us, and do whatever it takes, for us to get to the other side of the sickness that is attacking our bodies! Let’s not be like the children of Israel; they kept going around the mountain because they did not believe, trust, God! Our faith is going to be tried, so we might as well get in line with God’s will; it will make the process much easier! God is not testing our faith to hurt us but to help us; we never know if we REALLY have faith in God, until we experience something beyond our control! I have said I had faith in God but when it came down to it, I did not; I was trusting my own abilities and not God – that was a rude awakening!

David said in Psalms 121:1-2, his strength comes from God, who made the heaven, earth, and mountains; let this be your daily, hourly, minute, second, declaration! You must get serious about obtaining what God has already given you; it is yours so take it back from the enemy – don’t allow him to take what God has given you! Stand fast on the Word of God!
