Recovery For Abused Women

“Empowering the abused woman to recover with God's truth"

Wednesday's Words to Live By For February 8th - February 14th "Wait On God"

Here is your Wednesday's Words to Live By for the upcoming week:

Wait on God! Let's not get in a hurry to do anything because the Bible lets us know in Philippians 4:6:

"In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God".

We cannot do anything on our own - without God we can do nothing but with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

Remember, it is God who gives us the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18) and it is because of Him that we move, live, and have our being (Acts 17:28). Therefore, no matter how many times or how long you have prayed, or your present need, wait on the answer from God! Wait until He manifest what you need, don't go ahead of Him and provide your on way or lag behind Him; move when He move. Remember Saul? Lost his kingdom (1 Sam 13:14) because he got tired of waiting on Samuel to come and offer the burnt offering and peace offering (1 Sam 10:8). Saul was disobedient! He got tired of waiting and ran ahead of God. God might be telling YOU to wait! Therefore don't be disobedient and go try and make things happen (ie. your ministry, business, marriage, house, vehicle, etc.). Wait on God! He has the perfect timing laid out for your life. God has ordered your steps!

Scripture for today:

Psalm 27:14: "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
