God’s Grace Is Sufficient!

Scriptures: 2 Cor. 7-10

Most of us are familiar with Paul’s “thorn in the flesh.” He sought God three times to remove it but in the end God told him, “…’My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness’” (NKJV - v9).

God sees our needs and He is drawing near to us to help us. God wants to touch us, heal us, and make us whole more than we want Him too. But we must go to Him like Paul did and confess our “thorns” in our flesh; we cannot go on day in and day out and pretend as if we got it all together – we must go before God, naked and not ashamed, openly before Him and confess what is going on with us, just as Paul did. We has access to Him throne of grace through Jesus dying on the cross and restoring us back to the Father, so we must take advantage of being able to go before God’s throne. We will not be consumed anymore for trying to get close to God; He is holding out His Scepter (grace) to us and telling us to come boldly before His throne.

This is my prayer to the Trinity; I have to stop right here and give Them praise: It is an honor and privilege to be able to go before the throne of the Almighty, true and living God and not be consumed. Thank You Jesus for dying on the cross for me and restoring me back to the Father so I can now go boldly before His throne of grace and not be consumed. And thank You Father for wanting me to be restored back to You and for making the provisions for me to come back to You through Your Son Jesus. I love You Father and I love You Jesus; I could not have been here today if it was not for the Trinity and I appreciate You all, Amen.

God is not a man that He should lie neither the son of man that He should repent, whatever He says He will do, that shall He do (Numbers 23:19). God’s Word will not go out void but it will accomplish His desire toward you (Isaiah 55:11).

Therefore, don’t look at your situations or circumstances, stand on your word that God has given you; wait on Him to bring it to pass – don’t try to bring it to pass through your flesh, it will only delay it. As long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest will not cease (Gen. 8:22); so God still got time to do what He said He would do in your life.

In the meantime, while you are waiting on God to bring His Word to pass in your life, His grace is there with you to strengthen you in times of weakness; God’s grace is sufficient to carry you through whatever you have to go through. Today, God is telling you what He told Paul in 2 Cor. 12:9: “…’My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness”(NKJV).

Now, you can say as Paul said in v10 after God spoke to him: “…I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (NKJV).
