This blog is for abused women, women who are in unhealthy relationships, who are in recovery from an abusive relationship, sexual assault victims, and any other forms of abuse. The purpose of this blog is to let all battered and abused women know, "you are not alone because you have someone who cares about you." I can identify with you because I too was a victim of domestic violence and sexual assault. But now, God has raised me up to help you out of the bondage you are in; YOU WILL recover just as I did. Hi, my name is Dorothy E. Hooks and I am an overcomer of domestic violence and sexual abuse. I was sexually abused at the age of 16 and went through domestic abuse from the age of 19 to 54. It was not easy for me but God brought me through it, even though I did not know Him and was not serving Him. So, I know what you are going through, I know what it feels like to be abused and afraid to tell anyone. But God has totally turned my life around today. I am free from the bondage of domestic violence and you can be free too. Ok, it's your turn. I am going to give you the opportunity to say something; whatever you want to talk about.
