I.   What Word Says About Sickness: Session 5 - Part D

5.   Created for God ’s Glory – Session 5 – Part D

God has called us before we were born (Galatians 1:15). We were predestined to be God’s adopted children through Jesus (Ephesians 1:3-11). Jesus died to restore us back to God; since Adam’s sin in the Garden separated us from God (Romans 5:12-21).

We are destined to be great for God; to do His will! We are chosen, have a purpose, and are called by God! We are loved by God very much and valuable to Him! That is why God sent His Only Son Jesus to die for us. Jesus HAS cancelled EVERY debt that Adam’s sin required man to pay (Colossians 2:14)

– that is why Jesus had to come in the flesh – He became man to pay a man’s debt. NEVER forget who you are in Christ! No matter what it looks like or feel like, ALL things are working together for our good (Romans 8:28)! As Travis Green said in his song, "Intentional," God is intentional – God knows what He is doing! Let’s trust God and not go along with our feelings; we are to live and walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

6.  Solution is Jesus – Session 5 - Part D-1

The solution to sin, sickness, disease, and any other thing that is trespassing in or on our bodies, is Jesus! Jesus has ALREADY done the work for us; all we have to do is believe in His FINISHED work and take action to kick the trespassers off our land (our bodies)! We do this by NOT accepting sickness or allowing it to remain, once it is in our bodies.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! WE MUST take action against sickness and disease; TODAY! We cannot be passive about doing this! WE MUST become aggressive and demand ANYTHING that is contrary to the Word of God, to leave our bodies, in Jesus’ Name! Jesus has given us the authority to do this in Luke 10:19!

7.  Whatever Contrary to Word is a Weapon – Session 6 – Parts E-a-1 to E-a-3 (Parts E-a-1 to E-a-3, continues in next session for 8-5-22).

ANYTHING in our lives that is contrary to the Word of God is a weapon, sent by the enemy to destroy us! God will NEVER do anything to contradict His Word! These weapons CANNOT prosper against us UNLESS WE allow them to (Isaiah 54:17). Let’s STOP making excuses for what’s going on in our lives and do something about it!

This reminds me of the man sitting at the Pool of Bethesda, waiting for someone to put him in the water, so he could be healed; he was depending on someone else, instead of finding another way to get in the pool. Jesus asked him one question, did he want to be healed and he started giving Jesus excuses why he was not healed (John 5:1-15).
